manlike Dominance in The Yellow cover The story of The Yellow Wallpaper reflects the period whither mendominated women. The real meaning of this story is writtenhidden behind it. The author had used a writing room that is takingobjects portraying men, women, and society. The story first starts off a fit have moved to a house. A so-called haunted house, her wife describes it. The wife, who is a patient ofher husband, has moved here to cure her sickness. She does not admit thatshe has a problem. Everyday she keeps looking at the tore yellow wallpaper. She thinks it really raise observing it. She likes writingpersonally. And so she writes ab step to the fore the yellow wallpaper. Everyday shewould find some(a)thing new to write about. The wallpaper really manufactures the society. Those bars, which shesees in front of the wallpaper, represent freedom. It is the boundary thatwoman wants to break open of. Women image behind the bars, tries to break loose from the control of men wi ll eventually be twisted up. The lightsthat shined through the window present the dominant of men. The wifeobserves that patterns of the parts where lights shine decently at it is thenon-active parts. It symbolizes women ar more settle when men are notice over them. Under their pressure, they dont dare to rebel againstthem. Her wife sees images moving around on the dark side. That brings upa big contradicting point canvass this to our present society. Back then, woman does not have much freedom. They are under mans hands. Secretlythey tired to struggle through this strangle. But they failed later on all. My favorite passage of this story is on page 163. The detailed rendering that the wife describes really draws much attention to me. Ittalks about some details that the wife finds looking at the wallpaper. Andone interesting point, that she sees furthertocks and Jennie put their eyes on thewallpaper too. That she was surprise John and Jennie whitethorn see there issomething g oing on about the wallpaper. But I dont know if that is whatthe wife is determines or have a guess thats what they are doing also.Last sentence of the passage But I Know she was perusal that pattern, and I am determined that nobody shall find it out but myself She wasvery into examining the wallpaper, she is full of confidant that she shallbe the one finding out whats behind the wallpaper. It is quite freaky tohear that from her. Because she is a patient, and now here she is
